You can only imagine how shocked I was when Christine very casually asked me one day, while we were on our way to a photographers get together, if I would like to second shoot her wedding… I almost threw the car off the road! :) I couldn’t believe what I was hearing! Being a second shooter at the wedding of one of South Africa’s top photographers was nothing short of a huge privilege and honour. Iaan and Christine have been together since High School and the love they have for one another was overflowing on their special day. It was a perfectly beautiful summer’s day in Wellington and everything looked amazing! I am such a sucker for detail and beautiful blossoms and this wedding was loaded with both :) I couldn’t get enough of the flowers and decor! From the hydrangeas, proteas, tulips and peonies, to the amazing candy/dessert table as well as the very cute magnetic name badges for each guest, it was all exceptionally beautiful! It was a day filled with loads of fun, great food and awesome company :) The incredibly talented Julie Lim from the States was the official photographer of the day and her images from this wedding are incredible!
